Description

ANR Group Inc is recruiting students currently enrolled in any Engineering discipline,  preferably Project or Construction Management for a summer internship opportunity with Hanford Laboratory Management and Integration on the Hanford site in Richland,  WA.

This internship is open to students with Junior or Senior class standing that can be available for a 12-to-14-week internship between May 13,  2024,  and September 12,  2024.  This position is a full-time,  40 hour per week internship.  The schedule is Monday-  Thursday,  6 a.m.  to 4:30 p.m.  The hourly rate for this position is $24.15 per hour for Juniors and $26.46 per hour for Seniors.

Duties:

  • Provide project engineering support to projects at 222-S facility.
  • Project Engineering tasks include reviewing engineering documents in various stages of design.
  • Walk-down of engineering documents to verify field conditions and responding to engineering needs from the field.
  • Support of construction includes review and approval of technical submittals,  responding to Requests for Information,  and updating design documents as needed.
  • Project management tasks will be overseeing project schedules,  developing statements of work,  and general project oversight activities.

Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship
  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of the internship.
  • Junior or Senior class standing,  fulltime students (12+  credit hours)  during the two quarters/semesters immediately preceding the start of the internship or a recent college graduate.
  • Engineering major and/or construction management at an accredited university.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications:

  • Able to use CAD,  Microsoft Office Suite,  P6 or other scheduling software.
