ANR Group Inc is recruiting students currently enrolled in any major,  preferably involving Business Management or Database Management  for a Summer internship opportunity with Hanford Mission Integration Solutions on the Hanford site in Richland,  WA.

 

This internship is open to students with any class standing  that can be available for a 12-to-14-week internship.  This position is a full-time,  40 hour per week internship.  The schedule is Monday-  Thursday,  6 a.m.  to 4:30 p.m.  The hourly rate for this position is $24.24 per hour for recent high school graduates,  Freshman and Sophomore college students,  $25.99 for Junior college students,  and $28.53 for Senior college students and recent college graduates.

Responsibilities

Description:

The Requirements Management Intern will support the development and effective implementation of the requirements management processes and practices –  with the overall goal of mitigating risk and ensuring compliance,  while striving for increased efficiency and effectiveness of project execution.  The Requirements Management Intern will work directly with Hanford Contractors,  Requirement Area Managers,  Subject Matter Experts,  and other project staff to achieve this impact.  The Requirements Management Intern is responsible and accountable for delivering (i.e.,  planning,  implementing and assuring effectiveness)  all elements of the HMIS’  Requirements Management Program and Hanford’s Site-wide requirements Management System as well as compliance to project-specific requirements that may exist

 

Job Duties/Scope of Work:

  • Collaborate and support with other Hanford contractors on source requirement document loading and maintenance
  • Prepare and import source requirement documents and implement mechanisms from various sources to the RMS environment following specific formatting guidelines
  • Maintain a work list for loading requirement documents,  including changes,  for incorporation to the RMS.
  • Report on document uploads,  including notifying other Hanford contractors when completed

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship
  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA
  • Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of the internship.
  • Completed at least two quarters/semesters of college education prior to the internship.
  • Enrolled as a full-time student (12+  credit hours)  during the two quarters/semesters immediately preceding the start of the internship. 
  • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills including effective writing,  verbal,  and listening skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (at least 1 year of computer experience)

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with IBM Rational DOORS Next  or a similar software application
