Our Mission Assurance and Optimization organization is seeking a Technical Co-Op Intern who will participate in a rotational co-op program to work with multidisciplinary teams tasked with data analysis and processing,  software utilization,  management,  and design,  support to group developing and deploying both in-person and computer-based training modules,  and corrective action management spanning technical issues on nuclear projects.  Under supervision,  the individual will work with a range of Managers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)  across multiple functions (e.g.,  Operations,  Maintenance,  Engineering,  Regulatory Strategy and Integration,  Business Services,  etc.)  to gain broad-based skills and experience tailored towards determining and pursuing a career at Hanford upon graduation.

The Mission Assurance and Optimization Co-Op Intern duties may include,  but are not limited to the following:
*  Developing performance metrics utilizing business intelligence analytic tools.
*  Revising existing metrics to meet company mission as necessary.
*  Coordinating with multiple organizations to maintain a positive compliance posture.
*  Preparing requirements traceability matrix as necessary.
*  Ensuring information provided in software lifecycle documentation is complete and correct.
*  Reviewing software documentation for completeness,  correctness,  and compliance with requirements and procedures.
*  Assisting software owners and SMEs to modify and improve documentation where necessary.
*  Preparation of document and procedure changes.
*  Preparation or modification of standard templates and forms.
*  Interacting with Department of Energy (DOE)  during assessments.
