Description

Intern will research and write Congressional correspondence,  help constituents find information,  work with federal agencies,  field constituent phone calls,  and work with staff on research projects.  Opportunities available in the Yakima and Richland offices. 

Responsibilities

Monitoring committee hearings or briefings,  responding to legislative inquiries from constituents,  assisting with events,  and a variety of other tasks. 

Qualifications

Preference will be given to applicants with strong ties to the 4th District of Washington State.  Must have excellent writing and research skills,  a positive attitude,  and a willingness to complete tasks as assigned.
