Computer Science Internship - Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo) (Expired)

Description

This internship is open to students enrolled in a Computer Science program and is open to all students,  Freshman through Graduate.  Internship start and end dates may be flexible based on the student’s availability.

Statement of Work:

• Assist with Hanford Electronic Listing of Industrial Control Systems (HELICS)  documentations needs to address CPCCo Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
• Work closely with Information Management Team and CPCCo Project Team Members
• Creating ICS system diagrams (VISIO)  for all CPCCo ICS systems.
• Assist with writing Risk Assessments for legacy ICS and Operational Technology (OT).
• Assist with Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA)  reviews and updates as needed.
• Monitoring cyber security vulnerabilities and assisting with deployments of patches as needed for both HLAN and non-HLAN Equipment.
• Assist Information Management and project teams with Software and Hardware reviews for new purchases and upgrades.
• Participate in Information Management TechTalk Presentations.
• Assist with Software Quality Assurance task such as code reviews and documentation.
• The summer intern will be primarily teleworking with potential on-site meetings.

*Weekly Activities Report –  The Contractor shall provide Buyer with a Weekly Activities Report identifying detailed work activities performed for the week/day:  by name/hours worked and company and,  if applicable,  any detailed problems or issues in completing assigned work.  Weekly Activities Reports shall be submitted to the BTR by COB of the last workday of each week documenting the previous week’s activities.  Additionally,  the Weekly Activities Reports will be submitted as an attachment to each invoice.  Submission of Weekly Activities Reports is required until the contract work is completed.  A Weekly Activity Report will be submitted on weeks where no work has been done.
